Ghostly Places is a work-in-progress VR performance and part of Furkan Ak’s ongoing artistic research into ghostly presences, memory, and immersive technologies. The project follows the night ghosts of St-Gilles, Brussels, through stories shared by Ak’s neighbors. Ghostly Places explores how cities remember and forget, how hidden histories linger in shadows, doorways, and everyday spaces. It invites us to tune in to what usually stays unnoticed.
