What happens when a body starts moving and can’t stop? Body Need Bass is inspired by the dancing plague of 1518, when Madame Trofea stepped into the street and began to dance, sparking a wave of uncontrollable movement. This project taps into that same raw impulse—the need to move, to feel, to resist. Set in an immersive, club-like environment, the performance surrounds the audience with heavy bass, lights, and collective motion. You can dive into the rhythm or remain at the edges, observing the energy as it builds. Both ways of experiencing are equally vital. It is a space where bodies think through movement. Where resistance pulses through sound. Where presence becomes power.
